Hi! I am Sinjini, one of the four Counselling Psychologists at Gulmohar, QPR Gatekeeper, resident illustrator, and I could be your therapist.
Practicing from a person-centered focus, my style in therapy is deeply resonant with my beliefs. I believe that every human’s path to a fulfilling life is different, unique to their true self. In both my personal and professional life, I find immense meaning in helping the humans I encounter pave, cherish, and even celebrate their path!
While the process of therapy is rife with self-discovery- gaining insights and challenging oneself; I find it is often simply the therapeutic alliance, the bond shared between the client and counsellor, that is most healing. I am continually grateful to be able to connect with my clients, and to be trusted to walk alongside them in their individual journeys.
Driven by the grand why’s of our existence myself, my practice is imbued with elements of existential psychotherapy, and expressive arts techniques. In both my individual and group sessions I hope to create a space of mutuality and warmth, a space that can accommodate our whole selves, and hold the weight we all carry.
I am an enthusiastic and passionate person, curious about my presence in this world and excited about engaging with it. I endeavour constantly to seek and appreciate beauty, in both consuming and creating art. In my free time you’ll find me engrossed in a new project- in the middle of an adventure or the beginning of a dream- and always looking for the next laugh.
